Four teenagers have been charged after a south London stabbing left a 17-year-old with life-changing injuries. Police were called to Henry Road, Brixton, at 6.15pm on February 23, where they found James Bascoe-Smith suffering from stab injuries. James remains in hospital, now in a stable condition, where he is making a slow recovery following the attack. Anton Clarke-Butcher, 19, of Mantlet Close, SW16 has been charged with attempted murder. A 17-year-old boy is charged with attempted murder and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. Stephanie Paez Lopez, 18, of Tilson Gardens, SW2 has beencharged with assisting an offender. They appear at Westminster Magistrates court on Wednesday, April 28.

Former Eskom contractor Michael Harry Lomas has been arrested in the UK, where he is a citizen.
Spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority’s (NPA) Investigative Directorate (ID), Sindisiwe Seboka, said Lomas was arrested in London on April 15 and appeared before the Westminster magistrate’s court on Thursday.
