Serving as a military spouse is not an easy task. In recent years, the addition of technology has made our lifestyle easier, especially when it comes to community connections. Back when I first began my journey as an Army spouse, we relied on each other through our Family Readiness Group, which was always only a phone call away. Every month we supported each other by celebrating birthdays, holidays and embracing each other as Family because after all, we each chose a common path in life, to join the Army Family.

SAVANNAH, Ga., December 9, 2020 Georgia Southern University has named five distinguished Georgians to serve as speakers for Georgia Southern University’s Fall 2020 Commencement ceremonies on Dec. 13, 16 and 17.
Georgia Southern University will hold four commencement ceremonies for undergraduate students and one ceremony for graduate students from each of the University’s 10 colleges.
The commencement ceremony on Dec. 13 will be held at the Savannah Convention Center at 2 p.m. for undergraduates from each of the University’s three campuses who prefer to attend the ceremony in Savannah. The remaining four ceremonies will take place at Allen E. Paulson Stadium on the Statesboro Ca

Stewart Guardian puts garrison to test
Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield trusted agents and first responders teamed up with local law enforcement agencies last week as part of an ongoing effort to ensure that the installation is prepared in the event of a crisis.
Stewart Guardian, an annual readiness exercise that takes place on both Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, allows the installation to test their readiness through various real-world scenarios that involve multiple levels of emergency response and communication.
