New Castle County Police released the names of four people killed in three separate shootings earlier this month.
The four – Dakevis Reed, Allen Huff, Iris Longakit and Robert Wright – were killed during a five-day period that saw 16 people shot across the state, seven of them fatally.
So far this month, 25 people have been shot across the state. This helped push the number of people struck by gunfire in Delaware to 308 so far this year, according to a Delaware Online/The News Journal database.
