Olympics Evening session tops Monday entertainment and advertising demos July 27, 2021 10:26 Seven’s coverage of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics continues to dominate the linear metro television ratings, with the Evening session of Day 3 bringing in 1.210 million viewers and topping all three key advertising demos. The time slot, which included Australia defeating the Netherlands in women’s water polo, was the most-watched non-news programming on Monday, only behind Seven News overall (1.474 million metro viewers). The Night session, which included men’s team final of gymnastics – artistic, as well as several key swimming heats, brought in 1.146 million metro viewers for Seven. Earlier in the day, the Afternoon session brought in 1.087 million metro viewers, during which Aussie Ariarne Titmus won Gold in the 400m Freestyle.
