The block where the victim was found. A 12-year-old is charged as a juvenile in the weekend slaying of D’Vonte Relford, 25, of Detroit, the Wayne County Prosecutor s Office announced Tuesday. Detrot Police were called around 9:30 p.m. Sunday to the 16600 block of Mark Twain on the west side, where they found Relford shot multiple times on the ground outside a home, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. The boy is accused of firing a handgun during a fight, hitting Relford in the back. He is charged with one count of manslaughter and one count of felony firearm use.

A 12-year-old boy has been charged with manslaughter by the Wayne County Prosecutor s Office in connection with the fatal Sunday shooting of a Detroit man, officials said.
The boy also was charged with a count of having a firearm in his possession during the commission of a felony, the Wayne County Prosecutor s Office said Tuesday.
The boy was is being charged as a juvenile.
During a preliminary hearing at the Juvenile Detention Center, a magistrate set the boy s bond at $10,000, ordered him not to have any contact with any potential witnesses and told him to not have access to any type of firearm. The magistrate also scheduled a pre-trial conference in the case for June 7 at the Lincoln Hall of Justice.

RICHMOND, Ind. A Richmond Police Department K-9 helped officers locate drugs, and now a Cambridge City woman is charged with dealing methamphetamine.
Chelsey Renee Bowman, 28, remained in the Wayne County Jail Friday on a $50,000 bond.
The Wayne County Prosecutor s Office has formally charged her with Level 2 felony dealing methamphetamine, Level 3 felony possession of methamphetamine while in possession of a firearm, Level 4 felony unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and Level 5 felony possession of cocaine.
She also is accused of being a habitual offender because of previous felony convictions for resisting law enforcement, operating while intoxicated and dealing methamphetamine.

RICHMOND, Ind. A Richmond man appeared in court this week on charges he neglected and battered a 1-year-old girl.
Matthew Camden, 22, has been charged with Level 3 felony battery resulting in serious injury and Level 3 felony neglect of a dependent resulting in serious injury. He remains in the Wayne County Jail with a $20,000 bond.
Jeffrey Arnold was appointed Camden s public defender during Camden s initial hearing in Superior Court 1.
