Police describe horrific scene at Ecorse home where toddler died
Police officers who were called to the Ecorse home where a 13-month-old boy was found dead last summer described a horrific scene during the continuation of a preliminary exam Wednesday for the couple who are charged with killing him and injuring his twin brother.
During testimony in 25th District Court in Lincoln Park, officers said they arrived July 28 at the residence of Lisa Marie Reed and James Gibson and saw Gibson performing CPR on toddler Zyaire Reed.
The child, who was not breathing, had injuries to his left eye, which had broken blood vessels; injuries to his ears, a split lip; abrasions on his forehead and damage to his mouth. Reed, the boy s mother, was hysterical, as the boy was pronounced dead.

Her mother, Felicia Lightfoot, was speechless.
“I don’t know what to say, what to do,” Lightfood said. “I’m stuck. I don’t know. I can’t begin to tell you.”
Police said Fletcher was one of three bodies found shot to death inside the home on Boston Boulevard, near Dexter Avenue and Elmhurst Street on Detroit’s west side. Police said the bodies of two men were also found one was located on the inside of the home and the other one was found lying on the ground.

A Michigan woman who disappeared on New Year s Eve has been found dead, and her husband is now being held by police.

Her husband was arrested Tuesday and identified as a person of interest in her case, Southgate police said, according to the
Detroit News. He is cooperating with investigators. It is now up to Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy to decide whether or not Hilton s husband faces charges.

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) â The Monroe County Sheriff s Office is investigating after a man s dead body was found on a private, fenced-in lot near West Erie Road on Jan. 5 around 2:30 p.m.
Investigators believe the man is between 30 and 45 years old. The body is identified as a Black man with a dragon tattoo on the majority of his back.
The man has black goatee and a black 2-inch afro.
The body was taken to the Wayne County Medical Examiner s Office for an autopsy and investigators still work to identify the victim.
Man’s body found in Whiteford Township

A man’s body was found outside Tuesday afternoon in Whiteford Township, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Deputies were sent to private property in the 4300 block of West Erie Road about 2:30 p.m. on a report of a deceased man located within a fenced area.
The victim’s identity is not known at this time. He was described as a Black male with black hair, 30 to 45 years of age. He had a 2-inch Afro haircut and his facial hair was in a goatee style. He also had a dragon tattoo that covered most of his back.
