SAN DIEGO  A woman accused of illegal gambling who had a warrant out for her arrest led police on a pursuit, crashed and ran away before being detained Sunday night in the Chollas View neighborhood of San Diego, police said. Police said an officer spotted the woman speeding in a white Toyota Camry on 47th Street near Wightman Street in City Heights about 8 p.m. and recognized her as a wanted felon. When the officer tried to pull her over, she sped off. Police gave chase briefly before calling off the pursuit because the woman was driving recklessly, according to scanner traffic.
