A Government Minister admits there are some stores “blatantly abusing” the Covid-19 regulations.
It follows concerns from retailers in Clare and beyond over larger chain stores selling non-essential goods, which they say is unfair to smaller businesses who have had to remain closed during the pandemic.
The Minister with repsonsilbilty for Employment Affairs and Retail Businesses says they’re in high level talks with one company in particular, which has again committed to correcting behaviour.
