Wales has recorded zero new coronavirus deaths for the second time this week. New data published by Public Health Wales (PHW) on Friday recorded 58 more positive cases to bring the total number since the pandemic began to 211,162.
The country s overall number of lab-confirmed coronavirus deaths remains at 5,543.
The infection rate across Wales now stands at 14.7 cases per 100,000 people for the seven days up to April 18 – a slight rise from 14.6 on Thursday.
