During a committee of the whole meeting early Tuesday morning, Kenora council heard from city staff about a possible second round of COVID-19 economic recovery.
As a COVID-19 response effort, the new plan would build off recovery measures approved in July of last year, including big spend events, main street markets, and free parking downtown, all of which are meant to keep money flowing and support local businesses through tougher economic times. So Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are now President and Vice President of the United States but that’s not the long lasting news from the US Inauguration.
The long lasting news bit comes from Bernie Sanders. He has been the star of internet memes and photoshopped photos since Wednesday. At the time he was sitting in a chair by himself, was sporting mittens with his arms folded, a mask with not the happiest look and now he’s EVERYWHERE.
