Man charged with possession of child abuse and bestiality images | Isle of Wight County Press

A RYDE man charged with possession of numerous child abuse and bestiality images has appeared in court. John Salim Nazir Aridi, 38, of Victoria Place, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He has been charged with one count of possession of 70 prohibited images of a child, and three counts of making indecent images of a child namely 214 Category C images, ten Category B images, and six Category A images. He has also been charged with possession of three extreme pornographic images which portrayed a person performing a sex act with a live animal namely dogs and horses.

Bradley Kyle Sparshot was handed the CBO on 14th October this year at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court. The CBO prohibited him from causing a nuisance or annoyance to the public whilst under the influence of drink or drugs, from drinking alcohol in public whilst behaving anti-socially, and from entering certain areas of Ryde and Newport.

Ryde man caught with cannabis while driving his motorcycle uninsured

Jordan David Pilbeam, 23, of West Street, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He admitted possession of cannabis and driving a motorcycle without a licence or insurance. The court heard from prosecutor, Ann Smout, how on August 4, at 7pm, police had stopped a motorcycle driving at speed through Wray Street in Ryde. Ms Smout said police noted a smell of cannabis, and on being arrested, Pilbeam admitted possession. She said a small quantity of cannabis had been found, and in interview, Pilbeam said he had paid a friend £10 for the drugs. Ms Smout said Pilbeam had no previous convictions, and pleaded guilty at the first opportunity.

Uninsured Wroxall drink driver ended up in ditch

A DRINK driver ended up in a ditch at Blackwater Hollow, while uninsured. Tim Mark Mieville, 51, of Brookside Crescent, Wroxall, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He admitted drink driving and driving without insurance. Liz Miller, prosecuting, said on November 8, Mieville had been driving his Honda Jazz along Blackwater Hollow. When Mieville approached a right-hand blind bend, he lost control of his vehicle and ended up in a ditch. Ms Miller said when police arrived, Mieville admitted he had been driving without insurance, and officers described him as being unsteady on his feet and smelling of alcohol.
