The Loughton and Buckhurst Hill native couple celebrated their diamond anniversary on March 4, marking 60 years since they tied the knot. After meeting through a shared group of friends, the couple began courting when Mr Anderson was 17 and Mrs Anderson was 16. They married two years later St John’s Church in Buckhurst Hill. James Jim and Jane on their wedding day 60 years ago. When asked their secret to such a long-lasting marriage, retired milkman and pastry chef Mr Anderson quipped: “Luck”.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the world’s largest regional theme park company and the largest operator of waterparks in North America, is preparing to open all of its theme parks and waterparks and welcome guests back for the 2021 season. The company is celebrating its 60 th anniversary season with safety at the forefront and an impressive list of record-breaking roller coasters, thrilling rides and water attractions, innovative special events, and tasty, new culinary offerings.
There were entries from 54 countries for the 2020 awards contest, with winners for the first time from Indonesia and Kenya. Six of the award-winning entries feature notable explanatory and investigative reporting on the COVID-19 pandemic. EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center kicked off its 75th year of service on Wednesday night.
Holding a virtual kickoff event, Easterseals officials highlighted the organizationâs history and hinted on plans ahead for the âdiamond anniversaryâ year.
Three themes were established for the year: empower, transform and celebrate.
The first fundraiser of the year for Easterseals will be the All Cash Raffle.
The raffle is scheduled to begin on January 14.
Danziger announces it won t be participating in CAST 2021
The breeder is also holding other events, both in-person and virtual, throughout the year.
Danziger, in a statement attributed to marketing manager Mike Fernandez, announced that it won t be participating in CAST 2021, scheduled for the summer.
