WORTHINGTON The start of construction on a new JBS freezer warehouse facility was among Worthington s most noteworthy business developments in the last calendar year.
Representatives of JBS and the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors gathered in August for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility. Project Ice is planned at 186,083 square feet, with an option to add an 84,683-square-foot warehouse addition at a later date.

WORTHINGTON Santa Claus is coming to town next Tuesday.
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Santa will be escorted by the Worthington Fire Department, starting at the Worthington Fire Department and turning left on Second Avenue before following a red route around Worthington “that Santa’s Elves sent.”
All are invited to be outside to give Santa a big wave and catch a treat. The event is being coordinated by the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce and the fire department.
