FAIRFIELD-SUISUN, CALIFORNIA Indian Prairie to use $100,000 Intel grant to launch emotional support program developed by district grad [Naperville Sun, Ill.] Jan. 10 A $100,000 grant from tech giant Intel will allow Indian Prairie School District 204 to launch of an online social emotional learning check-in system for both children and adults. The hope is the system will allow users to better address challenges they are facing and the emotions attached to them as well as develop empathy for others facing their own problems, said Uzair Hussain, founder of District Zero, the technology company that created the platform. “It’s about helping Naperville and the community manage anxiety and emotions in a streamlined way that delivers value to everyone,” said Hussain, who attended District 204 schools and graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School in 2004.
