In Truro Magistrates court this month: A 53-YEAR-OLD man from Swanpool has been banned from driving for 12 months and fined £120 by Truro magistrates after admitting driving whilst nearly four times of the drink-drive limit. Jonathan Bishop of Swans Reach, Swanpool, Falmouth pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Transporter in Mongleath Road whilst over the limit on January 4 this year. Bishop was also ordered to comply with an alcohol treatment programme for six months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and Crown Prosecution Service costs of £85.
A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been banned from driving for 12 months by Truro magistrates after admitting drug driving on the A39 in July last year.

Here s the story so far, from when we first starting hearing about Apple working on it, all the way back in 2014.
Apple s Car is said to be self-driving, have a radical design that departs considerably from conventional vehicles. It could be the next step for Apple as a company to grow.
At the start of 2021, reports started to surface claiming Apple is in negotiations with potential manufacturers to actually make the Apple Car a reality. With a confirmation that the talks are underway, this has prompted renewed interest in the often-rumored product.

The âSkoda lookâ is now firmly established, with models such as the Octavia, Scala and Superb all sharing the same angular design language. Skoda says its design ethos mirrors Bohemian crystal â because it blends function and style â and now the brandâs designers have it fused it with some famous models from the past. The project has been called Icons Get a Makeover; fortunately the designs show more creativity than the project s naming.

âA model of this car once adorned my grandparentsâ shelf in the kitchen. Now it sits on mine. I always loved the deep red paintwork. The Voiturette A was Skodaâs [then named Laurin & Klement] first-ever production car from 1905 and has been recently re-imagined as an autonomous tourist vehicle for the streets of Prague.â
