Four years ago, I took a physical for a job and found out I am colorblind. Needless to say, the employer rescinded the offer.
It turned out to be the best news I ever got.

The Worland Lady Warriors lost to the number 2 ranked Girl’s Soccer team in Wyoming 3A Lander Valley Lady Tigers. 3-2 on Tuesday.
With two penalty kick goals from Carley Yule. They weren’t enough to get the win.
Worland had 26 shots on goal compared to the Lady Tiger’s 16.

The Lady Warriors travel to the Bridger Valley this weekend. The will play Lyman on Friday at 4PM and Mountain View Saturday at 10AM.

The Lady Warriors Girl’s Softball team was in Cody Thursday. The Cody Fillies are one of two undefeated teams in Wyoming Girl’s Softball. Kelly Walsh being the other.
Worland was 1-2 coming into the game Thursday against Cody.
The Lady Warriors would come out with a 4 to 1 lead heading into the bottom of the 2nd inning.
Cody scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning and would never look back.
Worland starting Senior Pitcher Brooklynn Hellyer got a rocket hit back at her and would hit her directly in the face mask.

After a four game winning streak and not allowing a single goal in that stretch. Outscoring their opponents 17-0. The Worland Lady Warrior Girl’s Soccer team ran into a buzz saw from Cody.
The number two Wyoming 3A Girl’s Soccer team, the Cody Fillies, came into Worland with a 5-1 record. Their loss was a 3-2 game against Lander on the 10th of April.
The Worland Lady Warriors Girl’s Soccer team was 4-1 and ranked number four in Wyoming 3A Girl’s Soccer. Their single loss was to 4A number four ranked Sheridan Lady Broncs in the season opener.

The second game of the season for the Lady Warrior Fastpitch Softball team would see them face the Rock Springs Lady Tigers.
Their second straight home game at Newell Sargent Park from Don Harkins Field.
Rock Springs had 12 runs off 12 hits scoring 6 runs in the top of the 6th inning.
Lady Tiger Freshman Pitcher Payton Soltis struck out 14 Lady Warriors.
Worland Senior Catcher Carmyn Buckman went 2 for 2 with a triple and a run scored for the Lady Warriors.
Senior Pitcher Brooklynn Hellyer struck out 7 Rock Springs batters. The Lady Tigers would get a 12-1 win over Worland and send the Lady Warriors to 0-2 for the season.
