Kansas Sheriff’s Office Still Probing 12 Claims of 2020 Election Fraud
The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office in Kansas confirmed last week that it’s still investigating claims of voter fraud from the 2020 election.
Twelve cases are being investigated, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal, which cited Deputy Abigail Christian, the sheriff’s office spokesperson; she said she couldn’t release more details about the investigations.
State Rep. Vic Miller, a Democrat, had asked Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay to look into the alleged election fraud, noting that 12 people had listed UPS stores and other businesses in Topeka as their places of residence.

Authorities in the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, which oversees Topeka, indicated they re actively investigating a tip from state Rep. Vic Miller, a Democrat, who penned a letter that claimed to expose 10 people who used a UPS store as their home address and two individuals who listed businesses as their place of residence, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal.
The letter, which was addressed to District Attorney Mike Kagay, was sent on Dec. 9, weeks after President Joe Biden was declared the victor following the highly contested Nov. 3 election. Miller asked Kagay for a response within 90 days, though he said he has not heard back from the top prosecutor.
The Shawnee County Sheriff s Office has arrested a man in connection with voluntary manslaughter linked to the death of a woman reported shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at a mobile home in the unincorporated community of Pauline, just south of Topeka.
Jon Kelly Ewing, 61, was booked at 1 a.m. Wednesday into the Shawnee County Jail, where he was being held on a $1 million bond Wednesday afternoon in connection with voluntary manslaughter committed upon a sudden quarrel or in the heat of passion, according to jail records.
The victim s name and age hadn t been made public as of 2 p.m. Wednesday.
