Detectives establish timeline, seek additional information in Middleburg woman’s death

Detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that they’ve established a timeline of events as they continue to investigate the death of a Middleburg woman whose body was found alongside A1A.
A Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told News4Jax that a passerby reported the discovery of the body, identified as Brianna Gibson, around 4:30 a.m. Sunday. The decision was made for the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit to investigate the case as an undetermined death.
Once the body was identified, according to the Sheriff’s Office, detectives learned that Gibson and her boyfriend had left Gibson’s family home earlier Saturday evening and she, her SUV and her boyfriend had not been seen since.

UPDATE: EL PASO, Texas - An elderly missing man has been found dead in El Paso County in Tornillo.
The El Paso Police Department reported that Santos Villareal Martinez, 86, was found dead Thursday at about 8 p.m. along Highway 20. The Sheriff s Office Major Crimes Unit is handling the investigation, but no foul play is suspected.
The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

Police investigating armed robbery, assault at Smiley s Flea Market in Fletcher
The Henderson County Sheriff s Office is requesting the public s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for an armed robbery and assault at Smiley s Flea Market at 5360 Hendersonville Road in Fletcher early Saturday morning.
A tall, curly haired white male wearing a ball cap, blue jeans and armed with a handgun approached an individual and demanded personal property, the Sheriff s Office said in a news release.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff s Office is investigating a murder suicide that happen in rural Mission on Sunday.
Alejandra Salinas Herrera, 28, and Heriberto Reyes, 34, were found dead North of Monte Cristo Road and Moorefield Road on Sunday, Dec. 13.
At approximately 3:35 a.m the Hidalgo County Sheriff s Deputies responded to the 12000 BLK of Landing Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance.
According to a news release from Hidalgo County, Sheriff s Deputies met with the reporting party victim who indicated her common law husband, Heriberto Reyes shot her 23-year-old brother and Alejandra Salinas Herrera after he physically assaulted her.
