Sherwood Forest Hospitals confirmed that a 24-hour pilot for the vaccination hub went ahead on Wednesday, January 20.
“A huge amount of work went in to setting it up and more than 800 people who met the JCVI (Joint Committe on Vaccination and Immunisation) guidance had their first vaccination, who otherwise would still be waiting for it,” the trust said.
Ashfield MP Lee Anderson praised the move and said: “King’s Mill Hospital has stepped up once again and vaccinated more than 800 people during the 24-hour overnight trial on Wednesday. This is a great achievement and shows that our hospitals can produce great results.

Seven new coronavirus-related patient deaths have been reported by Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust, according to the latest figures.
A total of 398 people across the trust have now died within 28 days of testing positive for covid-19.
No new deaths were reported yesterday (Friday) but six had been reported the day before.
