TDH: Current COVID-19 hospitalizations nearing 3,000 in Tennessee

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - The Tennessee Department of Health reported 3,712 new coronavirus cases across Tennessee with the addition of 76 deaths Monday.
There are over 77,600 active cases in Tennessee and 483,525 cases reported recovered/inactive.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Tennessee has seen 567,792 total cases and 6,588 virus-related deaths.
COVID-19 hospitalizations are also steadily rising with 130 new patients admitted within the last 24 hours there are nearly 3,000 Tennesseans currently hospitalized due to complications with the virus.

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - Tennessee’s COVID-19 cases have increased by 3,188 within the last 24 hours along with 69 additional deaths.
Tennessee Department of Health data suggests there are more than 77,000 active cases statewide with over 480,227 cases considered inactive/recovered.
As of Sunday, the state’s total case count tops 564,000 with virus-related deaths reaching 6,512.
TDH says there are over 2,800 Tennesseans currently hospitalized due to complications with the virus.
