Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan, H E Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, with Qatar Chamber Chairman, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and Qatar Chamber First Vice Chairman, Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar at Sheraton Hotel, yesterday.

Doha: Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan, H E Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, met yesterday with officials of Qatar Chamber (QC) and Qatari businessmen at Sheraton Hotel.
The meeting was attended by Qatar Chamber Chairman, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani; QC First Vice Chairman, Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar and QC Board Member Dr Mohamed Jawhar Al Mohammed alongside with a number of Qatari businessmen. The meeting also was attended by Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al Thani.

Bahrain government awarded 1,688 tenders worth $4.1bn in 2020 compared to $4.8bn in 2019, a 1.46 per cent drop YoY.
According to new data released by the Bahrain Tender Board – the country’s government procurement regulator, the oil sector led with 228 tenders worth $1.6bn (BHD598.1m).
In second place was the construction and engineering industry with 317 tenders worth a combined $875.7m (BHD330.1m). This kingdom has a pipeline of ongoing infrastructure projects valued at some $32bn.
