After the death of a two-year-old in Saturday s fire at Dhaka s Mohammadpur, his father died today at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Md Sohel, with 80 percent burns on his body, breathed his last around 1:00am at the hospital, said Partha Sanker Paul, resident surgeon of the institute.
His wife Laboni Akter is still being treated at the hospital with 30 percent burns on her body.
Three members of the family sustained burns after the fire originated around 2:45am at their house at Nobodoy Housing area on Saturday.
