In March 2020, studentsâ and teachersâ lives around the world were suddenly impacted in a way nobody could have foreseen.
Approximately one year ago, students were sent home from Penn State for two weeks, which would later turn into the remainder of the spring semester.
With the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, education has become reliant on online platforms, and this has proven difficult for teachers and students alike.
Some students returned in the fall with a majority of online classes and came back again late this spring for another semester that is mostly online.
The structure of student Eva Blankenhornâs classes was severely affected with the switch to Zoom learning.

11:30 a.m. â Lewis Hyde will discuss âThe Art of Forgettingâ as a part of the John M. Anderson Endowed Lecture Series, which begins Monday. The webinar will take place on Zoom, and registration can be found here.
Tuesday, Feb. 2
6 p.m. â âCreating Content in 2021,â a virtual series held by Bellisario College of Communication Alumni Society Board, will host its second five hour-long webinar. This session will be moderated by Natalie Buyny, and it will host panelists from NBCUniversal Media, CommScope and Accelerated Enrollment Solutions. Watch the session here.Â
