For example, the save system will be revamped to make it easier to pick up and continue progress. If you are playing on a platform that supports things like achievements or trophies, you’ll be able to earn them.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, Xbox One

Zombies Ate My Neighbors and its sequel, Ghoul Patrol, to modern platforms this summer, the companies announced Tuesday. The 16-bit games specifically the Super NES versions will receive new features when they come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One on June 29, 2021. Zombies Ate My Neighbors was originally released for Sega Genesis and SNES in 1993 through Konami. The top-down run-and-gun game stars Zeke and Julie as they battle zombies, vampires, Martians, mutant blobs, and other monsters across more than 50 levels of schlock horror sci-fi action. Ghoul Patrol brought back Zeke and Julie for more adventures the following year.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors tells the story of protagonists Zeke and Julie as they try to save their town from vampires monsters, giant babies, Martians, and, yes, zombies and ghouls. Both games will include modern conveniences like a quick save feature and achievement support. Fans will also find behind-the-scenes content like developer interviews, art galleries and more. You’ll have the chance to buy Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol together for  $15 on the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store, Steam and GOG. And if you want a physical copy of the games, you’re in luck. Limited Run Games will sell copies for select current and legacy platforms, with more details to come closer to the summer.
