A man is in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle early Saturday morning.
The Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to a report of a crash with serious injuries on Boudinot Avenue around 4 a.m.
Investigators say a man was riding a 2003 Yamaha R6 motorcycle east on Mozart Avenue crossing Boudinot Avenue when the accident happened.
The man struck a curb, lost control, and was thrown from his motorcycle coming to rest on Harrison Avenue, according to police.
He sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center where he is being treated and is listed in critical condition.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati police said excessive speed and impairment are factors in a Winton Road crash that killed a 43-year-old man Thursday night.
It happened near Dutch Colony Drive just before 11 p.m., according to a police news release.
The driver of a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu heading west on Dutch Colony Drive “disregarded a traffic control device” and struck a 2006 Honda Civic traveling southbound on Winton Road, the release states.
Medardo Valdez Jr., 25, is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular homicide, and vehicular manslaughter.
Police said excessive speed and impairment appear to be factors in the crash.
A 43-year-old man died after the Thursday crash in Winton Hills, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.
Officers responded to the 5400 block of Winton Road at 10:58 p.m. Thursday.
Valdez, 25, was driving on Dutch Colony Drive, when he disregarded a traffic control device and struck a car traveling south on Winton Road, police said.
Olajide Adewum, 43, sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He died as a result of his injuries.
