CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Local animal care agencies were told this week to expect a few dozen cats from a foreclosed home in Colerain Township. What they got could turn out to be the largest single haul theyâve ever seen.
Ray Anderson with Cincinnati Animal Care, one of the agencies contacted about the property, says the shelter is already swamped this season.

CINCINATTI (WKRC) - A dog with burn scars will soon train to be a therapy animal in childrenâs burn units.
Five months ago, Romee was brought to an animal care hospital in Ohio.
âWhat I saw from the photos of when he first came under our review were one of the most shocking things Iâve ever seen,â Ray Anderson with Cincinnati Animal Care said.
Romee still has some damage to his skin and is blind in his left eye, but despite that and 50 medical procedures, the seven-month-old dog is doing well.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati Animal Care is working to find homes for hundreds of dogs after an overwhelming amount has been coming in the past couple of months.
With only room for around 100 dogs, officials at the shelter say they received between 200 and 250 stray dogs per month recently. As space runs out, Cincinnati Animal Care is asking the community for help to adopt or foster these loving pups.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Separate investigations are underway to determine if two different dogs suffered because of cruelty and neglect.
The dogs, named Raptor and Honeysuckle, are both around 1 year old and are currently in foster homes through the Cincinnati Animal Care Humane Society.
Directors say Raptor came to them with injuries and was severely underweight. He was found in Avondale in January.
