After 12 seasons in Minnesota, a 7-for-1 trade brought Garnett to Boston in 2007, and the perennial All-Star helped lift the Celtics to an NBA Championship later that season. The power forward will be inducted to the Basketball Hall of Fame Saturday night as a first-ballot selection.
Six and Twenty explores ‘Obata’s Yosemite’

Members of The Six & Twenty Book Club met via Zoom Friday, May 7. Program leader Kathleen Blake chose the book “Obata’s Yosemite” to pass among members last year, which is now the current year due to pandemic rescheduling.
Published by the Yosemite Conservancy, the book details the art and letters of Japanese artist Chiura Obata from his trip to the High Sierra mountains in 1927. Blake had seen Obata’s work at the National Portrait Gallery in fall 2019 and was amazed at his treatment of Yosemite’s awe-inspiring monuments from her home state of California.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. 33-year-old Josh Duggar, known for his appearance on 19 Kids and Counting and other scandals, was arrested Thursday (April 29) by U.S. Marshals and is being held without bail in the Washington County jail on child porn charges.
Duggar appeared in a federal court over Zoom Friday (April 30) morning in a gray-and-black prison jumpsuit.
He is facing two charges of possessing child porn.
His attorneys are Travis Story, Greg Payne and Justin Gelfand.
His counsel released a statement that said in part, In this country, no one can stop prosecutors from charging a crime. But when you’re accused, you can fight back in the courtroom and that is exactly what Josh intends to do.
