County creates web page to track data on COVID-19 vaccine

The Vaccine StoryMap can be accessed through the county’s web page at www.sedgwickcounty.org    It will include reported doses given by the Sedgwick County Health Department and other providers.   The site will be updated each Wednesday. The county has administered over 7,000 doses of the vaccine, and for now they are only going to health care workers.   Deputy county manager Tim Kaufman is urging people in the health care industry to schedule an appointment through the county’s web site.   The county has set up a vaccine station at INTRUST Bank Arena, and Kaufman said the county plans to use that location through January.    The site will not be open on Friday and Saturday, January 8th and

December 28, 2020 by Jenny Goertzen Sedgwick County Health Department Partners With Local Clinics To Provide Vaccines To Health Care Workers, Appts Can Be Made Online For Next 2 Weeks The Sedgwick County Health Department has partnered with local community clinics to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to Health Care Associated Workers (HCAW) that have not yet received their first dose of the vaccine. Additionally, HCA Workers can schedule an appointment online for the next two weeks beginning Monday, December 28th–with appointments set to begin on Tuesday the 29th.
