The consolidated petition alleges that the disease outbreak at Tanganyika Falls Splash Park was spread by an organism that existed at Tanganyika Wildlife Park for a significant period of time, or was caused by water contaminated with organisms, pathogens, and/or fecal matter.

A Wichita woman has been charged with aggravated battery for a stabbing incident on the city’s south side.
20-year-old Mykala McAlpine made her first appearance in Sedgwick County District Court on Wednesday. Her bond was set at $75,000 and her next court appearance will be June 17th.
McAlpine was arrested after police found a 19-year-old man with a number of stab wounds in the 500 block of East Marion. Officers were called to the area around 2:15 a.m. on June 5th.
The injured man was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said he and McAlpine were known to each other.
