Three labours were killed and six others were injured after a truck hit a human hauler in Nachole upazila of Chapainawabganj this morning.
The deceased were identified as Jahidul Islam (23), Rezaul Karim (45) and Abdul Malek (40) of Nandalalpur village of the district s Gomastapur upazila, reports our Chapainawabganj correspondent.
Selim Reza, officer-in-charge of Nachole Police Station, said several labourers of Nandalalpur village on a human hauler (Bhutbhuti) were going to Niamatpur upazila of Naogaon for harvesting paddy.
The accident occured around 8:30am when a truck hit the human hauler from the opposite direction in Dhansura area of Nachole upazila, leaving nine labourers critically injured.

A man was brutally killed by unidentified assailants in Bogura s Sadar upazila early today.
The deceased was identified as Shafiul Islam Piplu (35), a resident of the Madidali Uttar Para of the upazila and used to work at a grocery store in Raza Bazar area of the town, reports our Bogura correspondent quoting Selim Reza, officer-in-charge of Bogura Sadar Police Station.
The incident took place around 12:00am at Matidali area when Shafiul was returning home after closing the store, the OC said.
