Preston and Stephanie Farmer
My grandfather, Preston Farmer, also known to many in the Santa Barbara community as the music man, is the most amazing man I have ever got the chance to love and receive love from.
They say there’s no love like the love of grandparents, and I have come to know that could not be more then true. Unfortunately, at the age of 76, my grandfather transitioned on after battling cancer for a couple of months. He passed away on Dec. 7, 2020.
He was a devoted member of the Santa Barbara community, serving in the U.S. Air Force, hosting a segment on KCSB-FM 91.9, a Greyhound employee for many years, and later retiring from UCSB.
