Union: No Position Summary This position consists of assignments in support of the Community Development Department using job-related knowledge and self-initiative. Assignments are performed under the direction of the Department Director or other designated Township official. Primary responsibilities include administration of the Township Zoning Ordinance and support to the Zoning Hearing Board, plan and permit reviews, report writing, site inspections to ensure compliance with the Township Zoning Ordinance and other applicable ordinances. Additionally, provide support to Planning Commission that will include review of subdivision and land development plans in conjunction with municipal engineer, attendance, and participation in developer/staff meetings to discuss on-going and pending plan applications. Assist in the development of comprehensive plan update and corresponding amendments to both the subdivision and land development and zoning ordinances.
