Girl, 14, seriously injured in crash on A13, Shoebury | Clacton and Frinton Gazette

A 14-year-old girl sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. They are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. The road was closed while officers investigated and enquiries are ongoing. A spokesman from the East of England Ambulance Service, said: I can confirm that we responded to an emergency call on April 25, shortly before 2pm regarding an incident in Shoebury. We sent one ambulance to the scene. One patient was treated and transported to the Southend University Hospital.

Southend Hospital s trust said it was working hard to care for people as quickly and safely as possible . Data released shows the number of patients waiting more than 52 weeks for a routine operation at Mid and South Essex NHS Trust, which includes Southend University Hospital, was 8,072 in February.
