“We believe the website will be a game-changer, particularly for those who don’t have their own site. “The idea of this site is that people will be able to find everything in one place. SOUTHEND’S former Primark shop could be taken over by furniture giant Dunelm as major plans were unveiled which could be a huge boost to shoppers and high street businesses. The business is eyeing up the former Primark site in the Royals Shopping Centre in Southend High Street - with fresh plans now submitted to Southend Council. Primark closed its base in the centre earlier this year as it moved into the huge former BHS Store in a prominent slot on Southend’s high street. Marketed as the UK’s leading home furnishing retailer, Dunelm sells a huge range of items from bedding, curtains, furniture and beds to mattresses.
