WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Two people were in custody late Monday morning after the driver of a sedan tried unsuccessfully to ram a Department of Public Safety unit in which a trooper was pursuing a pickup through Central Texas on Interstate 35.
Authorities don’t know if there’s any connection between the drivers of the two vehicles, both of whom are from Dallas.

A woman in her 30 s is dead after her motorcycle collided with a sedan in Killeen Saturday night.
Ofelia Miramontez with the Killeen Police Department reported Sunday that emergency responders were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Fort Hood Street shortly before 10 PM January 30 after someone called 911 to report the crash.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found 36-year-old Marla Harris lying unconscious in the roadway. Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke pronounced Harris dead at the scene at 11:15 PM.
According to Miramontez, a preliminary investigation revealed that Harris was riding her Harley Davidson south along State Highway 195 at an unsafe speed when the driver of a black Nissan Versa failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign and entered the intersection to head north on SH 195.

COLLEGE STATION, TX â One hundred and nine hospitals across the state of Texas have received the Pfizer vaccine.

On Monday, UPS began delivering vaccines to major cities in the state. During Thursdayâs morning press conference, Governor Greg Abbott said as of Wednesday night, 95,000 doses have been delivered.
âToday [Thursday], an additional 129,000 doses will be delivered across the state of Texas. So that means for this week, we have about 224,000 doses of vaccines that will be delivered,â said Governor Abbott.
