North Ayrshire s Eglinton Park has been the target of a rising number of reports of vandalism and anti-social behaviour. The public are being reminded of their responsibilites if they are visiting the park now that restrictions have eased.
Vandalism PC Graham Stroyan of Kilwinning Locality Policing Team said: Eglinton Park is a great community resource and the vast majority of visitors to the park, are responsible and are looking to enjoy the park. However there have been a number of reported incidents of anti-social behaviour, vandalism, and littering which have spoiled the experience of visitors to the park. We are working closely with the North Ayrshire Council Rangers and will be stepping up joint patrols to educate visitors about their responsibilities, and where necessary deal with any identified criminality.
