Sign Up A 25-year-old man has been arrested following a three-car crash on the A82 between Spean Bridge and Fort William which resulted in three people being airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. Police were called to the scene, between the Spean Bridge and Aonach Mor, at around 5.30pm, with fire crews sending four pumps a few minutes later. Cutting gear was used on the vehicles, and the Glasgow-based Helimed 5 air ambulance was in attendance to transport those affected by the crash.

Sign Up Police were called to the incident at around 7pm on Sunday, and enquiries remain ongoing. Officers confirmed that there was no threat to the wider public. Pictures show numerous emergency service vehicles at the entrance to the car park, including police and the Scottish Ambulance Service. A police spokesman said: “Police were called to a disturbance at the St Giles shopping centre in Elgin at around 7pm on Sunday, May 23. “One man has been arrested and officers remain at the scene as inquiries are ongoing.
