Disney+ has announced that production on Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming and newest live-action film adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic novel
Peter Pan & Wendy has finally commenced in Vancouver. The long-in development feature was originally set for a theatrical release but was officially moved to Disney+ last December along with Robert Zemeckis’ Pinocchio.
“Peter Pan has long been one of my favorite stories, partially because I’ve always resisted growing up, but also because of the heart, adventure and imagination that makes J.M. Barrie’s original tale so evergreen,”director David Lowery said in a statement.
Black Widow: Never Before Seen Images Reveal New Looks at Natasha, Red Guardian, and Taskmaster
Barring any further delays,
Black Widow will finally enter theaters on May 7th. Since that date is rapidly approaching, the Walt Disney Studios marketing team will soon begin the massive promotional push to ensure as many eyes as possible are watching the feature once it does hit theaters. That includes the release of a new batch of stills featuring the movie s ensemble cast, from shots of Scarlett Johansson s Natasha Romanoff to Red Guardian (David Harbour), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), and more.
The shots have been passed around on Twitter and look to be from a behind-the-scenes book or magazine. A few of them have surfaced before, but others like the Red Guardians picture, and one of O-T Fagbenle s mysterious Mason appear to be hot off the presses.
