3 months ago in Local jsalzone Photo: WHCU ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls is reporting an increase in active COVID-19 positive cases. Schuyler Hospital officials say there’s 18 known positive cases at Seneca View, 14 of which are experiencing no symptoms. They say the positive cases were detected because of rigorous testing which was implemented at the onset of the pandemic. Seneca View says it is in continuous contact with families of the residents and answering all questions. Schuyler Hospital President Rebecca Gould says they’re continuing to maintain stringent safety standards set forth by the State Department of Health.
