This much became evident when the Czech carmaker suspended the Skoda sedan s bookings in India last year. As a matter of fact, the company eventually went on to remove the Rapid Rider s listing from its official website in December 2020. But thanks to the sustained demand for the entry-level Skoda Rapid Rider, the company has re-introduced it in India with a price tag of ₹7.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Skoda Rapid Rider s new price makes it about ₹30,000 more expensive as compared to when it was first launched in the country.
