Ricardo Aleman, 42, no longer faces a state charge of invasive visual recording, according to Bexar County court records. A copy of a dismissal released to the KSAT 12 Defenders Monday shows that prosecutors dismissed the case Jan. 19, after Aleman was arrested on federal charges late last year.

Crosspoint Church located at 2600 Roy Richard Drive is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Schertz Community Center at 1400 Schertz Parkway, Building 3 is open from noon to 6 p.m. COVID screenings and temperature checks are required upon entry and people must wear masks while inside the buildings. Residents are asked to dress warmly and bring any medications they may need as well as some water and snacks. No pets are allowed in the warming centers.
