It’s election day with a difference as polling stations operate under coronavirus restrictions across Great Britain.
On what has been dubbed Super Thursday, polling stations opened at 7am in the largest test of political opinion outside a general election, with the future of the Labour Party and the state of the Union among the issues at play.
But there were still many familiar sights, with party leaders posing for pictures after they voted and plenty of #dogsatpollingstations photos to brighten up social media.

Reports of a serious road traffic accident in Liscard
Police have currently cordoned off a main road in Liscard, Wallasey after reports of a road accident.
At least four police cars were at the scene on Mill Lane and Parkfield Road at about 1pm this afternoon.
An ambulance was seen leaving the area by onlookers as police tape stretched out across the main route through the town centre.
A section of Mill Lane is now unaccessible to cars and pedestrians while police investigate the incident.
Traffic is being directed back on itself down Parkfield - back towards Central Park - while cars are being turned back before St Albans Church on Mill Lane. The air ambulance also reportedly landed nearby.
