Man missing from Sydney s south

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south. Fredrick Perera, aged 80, was last seen leaving an aged care facility on Forest Road, Bexley, about 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday 16 January 2021). He was reported missing to officers from St George Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him. Concerns are held for welfare due to his age and having a medical condition. Fredrick is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, brown eyes, bald head. He was last seen wearing a navy t.shirt, black pants, black cap and grey shoes.

Brian Walters, aged 76, was last seen at an aged care facility on The Mall at South Hurstville about 9am today (Tuesday 15 December 2020), before going for his daily walk. When he failed to return, officers from St George Police Area Command were notified about 2.45pm. Despite an extensive search of the area, Mr Walters could not be located. Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due pre-existing medical conditions.

Date Time Further four charged after armed robbery and carjacking – Brighton Le Sands Detectives have charged four further people following an investigation into the alleged armed robbery and carjacking of another man in Sydney’s south earlier this year. Just before 3am on Monday 22 June 2020, emergency services were called to a unit complex on Bay Street at Brighton Le Sands, following reports a 45-year-old man had been assaulted. Police were told that three unknown men, all armed with weapons, physically assaulted the man, before stealing his vehicle – a late model red Mustang Coupe. Officers from St George Police Area Command, together with detectives from the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad, commenced an investigation into the incident under Strike Force Tremere.
