A US billionaire who made a fortune in tech and fighter jets is buying an entire SpaceX flight and plans to take three people with him to circle the globe this year. Besides fulfilling his dream of flying in space, Jared Isaacman announced he aims to use the private trip to raise 200 million dollars (£146 million) for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, based in Tennessee, with half coming from his own pockets. A health care worker for St Jude has already been selected for the mission. Anyone donating to St Jude in February will be entered into a random draw for seat number three, and the fourth will go to a business owner who uses Shift4 Payments, Mr Isaacman’s credit card processing company in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Jan 16, 2021 CANAL FULTON Dallas Stacy, 79, formerly of the area, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, due to a sudden illness. He was born on May 25, 1942, in Salem, the son of the late Howard and Irene Oros Stacy. He moved to Echoing Ridge Residential in Canal Fulton and settled into a nice caring environment. Dallas enjoyed going out and cruising around in his wheelchair. The computer was a great outlet for him to keep up with family and friends. He may have been limited on things, but he was good on the computer and a champion at checkers. He also was a wonderful numismatist and had a wonderful collection to prove it.

Rochelle Corliss Rochelle Corliss SACO Rochelle “Ro” Louise (Guerrette) Corliss, age 71 of Saco, formerly of Beverly, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully Sunday Jan.uary 10, 2021 at Maine Medical Center of COVID-19. She was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, on Feb. 28, 1949, the daughter of the late Roger George and Rita Marie LaBelle Guerrette. Rochelle grew up in Danvers, Massachusetts, and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1967. Her first job after high school was working as a dental assistant in Beverly, Massachusetts. Rochelle then started her career in education as a school secretary at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Elementary School where she worked for 20 years. She then became the bursar at Endicott College and worked at the college for many years until her retirement.
