A total of four cars reasonably suspected to have been stolen or snatched from their owners has been recovered by the Anambra State Police Command patrol teams attached to CPS Awka, Neni and Oraifite Divisions while on routine patrol in the state.
Confirming the report, a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Anambra State Police Command, CSP Haruna Mohammed stated that “the vehicles include a golden coloured Sienna car with registration number MUS 996 FB recovered along Enugu Onitsha expressway, a dark ash unregistered Lexus 350 car recovered at Akwaeze-Oreire-Igboukwu road and dark blue Toyota Corolla car with registration number JJT 810 SA also recovered along Akweaze-Igboukwu road.”

Concerned about the effect hunger was having in their Booysen Park community during lockdown, five couples opted to start a soup kitchen, but this week beneficiaries also received a little Christmas cheer. On Wednesday, 370 children from Booysen Park received toys from Santa and a meal, which brought smiles to all those who gathered at the soup kitchen in 7de Laan.
Samantha Jaftha, 40, who has lived in Booysen Park for 20 years, said she had started the soup kitchen at the start of the lockdown with her husband, her four friends and their husbands.
