The majority of Surrey has now moved into a new Tier 4.
The new rules, which include the closing of all non-essential shops, came into force at 12.01am on Sunday (December 20).
Tier 4 also means that the vast majority of Surrey residents will no longer be able to mix with up to two other households on Christmas Day.
Plans had originally been in place to allow up to three households to mix between December 23 and 27, but this has been cancelled for Tier 4 residents due to a surge in cases.
