Happy Mother s Day: Lookalike contest celebrates lifelong joys of motherhood

She always followed the Mother s Day contest, but only the last year or two, as their resemblance grew, did she consider entering. This year we decided we had to do it, to do something fun, Varupi said. Since Pareena is at an age where she is changing every few months, we had to take a fresh picture. Irreversible Damage: Amazon reverses ban on dangerous anti-trans book

Amazon says it will continue selling Irreversible Damage by Abigail Shrier (Getty/Amazon) Amazon has refused to stop selling a dangerous anti-trans book in spite of an internal complaint filed by dozens of the company’s LGBT+ staff. The book, Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters, is written by the anti-trans journalist Abigail Shrier, who helped proliferate the debunked concept of “rapid onset gender dysphoria”. Her book describes trans identity as “a peer contagion among teen girls”, perpetuating the idea that being transgender is inherently harmful to youth and something to be “cured”. “A generation of girls is at risk,” the Amazon description reads. “Abigail Shrier’s essential book will help you understand what the trans craze is and how you can inoculate your child against it – or how to retrieve her from this dangerous path.”
