Islamabad, May 28 : Pakistan has categorically rejected an allegation levelled by India, accusing Islamabad of cross-border infiltration, counter-accusing New Delhi for practicing what it called brutalization against the people of Kashmir.
Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that it was New Delhi s brutalization of Kashmiri people, that threatened regional peace . Peace and security in the region are threatened on account of India s brutalization of Kashmiri people and refusal to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions, and its own pledges to the international community and the Kashmiris.

When asked about India-US ties the minister recalled that the relationship has come a long way. “Today it is one of important relationships in the world.” He stated that he saw a big change in US mindset in dealing with India.
Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday pitched for accessible and affordable vaccines for the entire world and suggested that countries should harmonise national interests for global good.
“We need accessible and affordable vaccines. we need a less risky world that works for everybody. We cannot have a world that is part vaccinated and part not vaccinated… countries should be willing to harmonise national interests for global good,” the minister said at a virtual session ahead of his meetings with US officials and global pharmacy majors in Washington. India wants to smoothen supply of vaccines and raw material for vaccine production as it fights the second wave of Covid-19.
