STAMFORD After two weeks of delay and almost no debate, the Stamford Planning Board rubber-stamped this year’s capital budget Tuesday evening.
The board allotted $44.3 million to city projects for the 2021-2022 budget, not far from its $48.2 million recommendation in 2020. However, much of that $44.3 million is already spoken for by massive city projects.

In one of those funny/sad moments, I (Diane) stepped into my hotel room and someone had filled up the tub with bubbles and sprinkled rose petals all around. On the tubâs edge were two flutes and a bottle of champagne. So romantic! Alas, I was traveling solo. After posting on social media, I drained the tub, tossed the rose petals, and drank the bubbly.
