Prime Minister s International Affairs Adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi today said that industries are important for economic growth and development, but there is no excuse behind polluting the environment recklessly. Most of the pollution is coming from the industries, bound by government regulations to ensure that ETP (effluent treatment plant) is installed and operated, but they re not doing so. That s unacceptable, and as a society, we must demand from them. There has to be societal responsibility.

North South University (NSU) has organized a virtual inauguration ceremony of the Pathology Laboratory in NSU Medical Center on March 29, 2021. NSU is the first and only private university in Bangladesh to set a unique example by launching such a pathology lab at North South University. The launching ceremony of the “Probashi” app was held on March 30, 2021 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the ball room of Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon. The chief guest of the event was the State Minister for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, MP.
